Terrain
Held in the Walloon town of Thuin in Hainaut province, this late-autumn trail event runs on Friday 30 October 2026 with two short options of 8 km and 14 km. The courses follow trails in the wooded, hilly Ardennes landscape around Thuin, the historic town perched above the Sambre valley. Both distances are short enough for runners new to off-road racing, while the 14 km option offers a longer outing on the same terrain. Runners should confirm the latest practical details, start times and registration arrangements directly with the organiser before travelling.

Other questions
The event is scheduled for Friday 30 October 2026 in Thuin, Belgium.
It is a trail event. The routes run on off-road paths in the countryside and woodland around Thuin, so trail or grippy off-road shoes are the sensible choice, especially if the ground is wet in late October.
Late October in southern Belgium is typically cool and damp, with temperatures often in single digits to low teens Celsius and a real chance of rain and muddy trails. Dress in layers and consider a waterproof jacket and shoes with good grip.
