The 9th Run for Airc takes place in Forte dei Marmi on the Tuscan coast, starting from the town's pier. Participants choose between a 4km and an 8km route along the seafront, with proceeds supporting cancer research.

ParkingForte dei Marmi is a coastal town and the pier area can be busy even in October. Use public parking areas and blue-zone paid spaces near the seafront, and arrive early to secure a spot. If central parking is full, park farther from the pier and walk or use a local taxi/bus. Always respect resident-only, disabled, and temporary race-day parking restrictions.

Public transportThe 4K is a friendly distance for most fitness levels. Start with run/walk sessions 3 times per week, gradually building to 20–30 minutes of continuous running. If you are considering the 8K, add one longer easy run each week. Train on flat roads or seafront paths to mimic the course, include a short warm-up before fast efforts, and taper for a few days before 11 October 2026.

ToiletsLarge charity runs usually provide toilets and a basic bag drop near the start/finish, plus water or refreshments at the finish. However, the event data does not confirm these facilities, so check the official participant guide before race day. For a 4K, you can carry a small handheld bottle if you prefer not to rely on aid stations. Keep valuables with you rather than in a bag drop.
