No. The event has no athlete registration desk on race day. Athlete bibs, timing chips and other items are mailed to entrants beforehand, so runners should bring what they receive in the post.
Entry includes an event-original long-sleeve T-shirt, a finisher's dried sweet potato, an event-original timing chip, a web record certificate and an original bib fastener. Amazake, bananas and barley tea are served on race day, and massage and chiropractic treatment are available.
The marathon is open to men and women aged 18 and over, and high school students cannot enter it. The 10 km races are open to high school students and above, with a reduced entry fee of 4,000 yen for high school runners.
Yes, baggage storage is available on race day for a fee of 100 yen.
JAAF-registered runners must record their federation details, including the Roman-alphabet spelling of their name and their JAAF ID, in their RUNNET My Page before entering, otherwise the entry button will not appear. Runners from regional associations that no longer issue a registration number should enter "no number" in the registration number field and make sure their JAAF ID is recorded. If an application is still being processed, enter "application pending".
