Good to know

ParkingBuild your long runs on trails through winter and early spring, practicing hiking steep or technical sections. Simulate race-day nutrition and gear. Since the race is in April, train in similar cold/wet conditions and include back-to-back long runs. Study the course profile if available; parkland trails may be rolling rather than mountainous.
