The Osaka Nagai Ekiden is a team relay run on the long-distance course inside Nagai Park in southern Osaka. Teams of two to five runners cover five laps of a 2,813 m circuit, passing the sash between team members each lap, and they enter in men's, women's or mixed divisions. Registration opens at midday at the north practice room of Yanmar Hanasaka Stadium, the opening ceremony follows at 13:10 and the race starts at 13:30 from beneath the clock tower on the running course. The organisers describe the mood as relaxed and homey, and the lapped park circuit means newcomers can take part with confidence.

Teams of two to five runners who are high school age or older. Teams enter in the men's division (all men), the women's division (all women) or the mixed division (at least one man and one woman).
Entry runs from 22 July 2026 at 00:00 to 25 September 2026 at 23:59, but the organisers close entries early once the field is full.
Yes, the nominated representative can enter more than one team, but duplicate entries should be avoided. The friends and family entry service cannot be used for this race.
The full name, name in kana, gender and date of birth of every team member, so have these ready before you start the entry.
