The 6 Miglia di Piossasco, also known as the Camminata per la Vita, takes over the streets and outskirts of Piossasco on a late-November Sunday morning. A 10 km competitive race goes off first, followed by a non-competitive 10 km Rungatunga and a shorter 6 km Rungatunga Breve, so club runners, joggers, walkers and families all share the same course on the same day. The ground underfoot is paved road throughout, and the programme ends with a series of youth races for the Allievi, Cadetti, Ragazzi and Esordienti age groups. The event is run as a charity walk and run for the local community, with the start and finish in Piossasco itself, about 20 km south-west of Turin.
