The listing is flagged 証明書提示あり (a certificate or proof must be presented). The GakuRUN slot is limited to entrants aged 18 to 25, excluding high school students. Full marathon entrants must be 18 or over and not in high school.

Public roads, running from the castle town of Nishio out past the sea, rivers and tea fields of the Mikawa region.

Route

Starts at Nishio City Hall at 09:00 and finishes at Yokosuka Park, passing through the castle town and the coastal, river and tea-growing scenery of the Mikawa area. There are nine checkpoints on course.

Getting There

Please use public transport. The organiser accepts no responsibility for lateness caused by public transport or road conditions on the day.

Race Day

Athlete bibs and timing chips are sent by post, with dispatch planned for 18 December. Aichi residents entering the full marathon can collect their bib in advance at Alpen stores (Alpen Nagoya and Sports Depot Nishio), first 500 people per store, between 18 December and 15 January. Anyone who cannot collect in that window picks up their bib at the general information desk on race day. There is no on-site reception for the full marathon.

Finisher certificateYes. A web completion certificate is provided for all races except the 2km jogging category, and provisional results are displayed for the top eight finishers.

Parking · PaidParking costs 2,000 yen per car and must be chosen at entry. Some races are open only to entrants who need parking and others only to those who do not, so check carefully to avoid entering twice.

AccessibilityYes. The 2km race includes a wheelchair category with 20 places, starting at 10:20. Racing wheelchairs are not permitted and assistants may be used where needed.

Before you enter

RefundsNo changes, corrections or cancellations of submitted entries are possible for personal reasons. If the event is cancelled for reasons beyond the organiser's control (earthquake, storm or flood damage, snowfall, incident, accident, illness, etc.), whether and how much of the entry fee and handling charge is refunded will be decided taking into account the actual costs incurred at the time the cancellation decision is made.

TransfersFalse declaration of age or gender and running by anyone other than the applicant (proxy running, transfer of rights) are not permitted. If discovered, the entry is cancelled, no entry fee or handling charge is refunded, and the person will not be accepted for future editions of this event.

Time limitThe full marathon has a 6 hour 30 minute limit with nine checkpoints. The 5km has a 1 hour limit and the 2km has a 40 minute limit.

Collecting your numberAichi residents entering the full marathon can collect their bib in advance at Alpen stores (Alpen Nagoya and Sports Depot Nishio), first 500 people per store, between 18 December and 15 January. If you cannot make that window, collect it at the general information desk on race day.
