Organised by the Marne fire and rescue service (SDIS 51) together with Racing Club Épernay Athlétisme, this 56th departmental cross-country is held at Épernay on Sunday 22 November 2026. The afternoon opens at 12:00 with a 2,400 m race for the youngest categories and builds through 3,000 m, 4,000 m and 5,000 m races before the 9,000 m senior and masters 1 men's event at 14:20, with every start taking place at the same venue. Courses mix laps of the athletics track with small and large grass loops, so the ground underfoot changes between the track surface and the turf. Entry is free for firefighters and for administrative and technical staff, and bibs are collected on site on race day.
