Terrain
The course climbs from the village of Les Plans-sur-Bex up to the Cabane de Plan-Névé on mountain footpaths and trails, gaining roughly 1,190 metres over 6.4 kilometres with no descent at all. The finish sits at the alpine hut, so the effort is one long, steady climb from the valley floor to the hut terrace. The event is listed as a summer challenge running from late June to late September 2027, and registration opens on 1 April 2027 through the organiser's own website.

Other questions
The listing shows a window from 28 June to 26 September 2027 rather than a single race morning, which suggests the route can be completed within that period. Check the organiser's website for the exact rules and any date on which the route must be run.
It climbs about 1,190 metres over 6.4 kilometres and has no descending section, which makes it a sustained uphill effort from the village to the alpine hut. Expect steep walking on the steeper pitches rather than a flat run.
With mountain paths, loose surfaces and a long steady climb, trail shoes with good grip are the sensible choice. The listing does not publish a mandatory kit list, so bring what you would normally carry for a mountain outing.
The finish at the Cabane de Plan-Névé is reached on foot, so anyone wanting to see the finish needs to walk up themselves. The village start is the easiest place to watch the runners set off.
No weather or cancellation policy is published on the listing. Mountain conditions in the Vaud Alps can change quickly, so check the forecast and speak to the organiser before travelling.
