The Marcia delle Castagne is a recreational march held in Castegnero, in the province of Vicenza, every 1 November. Participants pick one of five routes of 6, 10, 20, 30 or 42 km, all starting from Piazza Mercato. The long route sets off between 06:30 and 08:00, while the shorter distances have a free start window from 07:00 to 10:30. Now in its fiftieth edition and paired with the tenth Maratona Straberica, the day is organised by the Podisti Straberici Castegnero and welcomes both runners and walkers at their own pace.
