Arrive early at Kento Railside Park. A team representative will likely check in, collect bibs or timing devices, and confirm member details. The start area will be within the park, so listen carefully to announcements and allow time to warm up in the lawn plaza. Since exact start times and check-in windows are not listed here, confirm them on the final event schedule before race day.
The lawn plaza at Kento Railside Park will host a special stage, food stalls, and children's booths, so there is a festival atmosphere alongside the running events. Expect basic park facilities and toilets, but bring cash, your own hydration, and a bag for layers. The family fun run of about 1km also takes place as part of the day.
Before the start, note the emergency contact number on your bib or event instructions and identify the nearest first aid point. If you see a runner collapse, send someone to the nearest staff member, call emergency services (119 in Japan), and start CPR if you are trained. Follow all staff instructions and do not continue running if you experience dizziness, chest pain, or severe shortness of breath.
Accommodation is not provided by the event. Book a hotel near Kisabe, Suita, or along the JR Kyoto Line such as Shin-Osaka or Osaka for easy access. November 23 is a national holiday in Japan, so accommodation may fill up quickly. Staying near Shin-Osaka gives you a simple train connection to Kisabe Station.
