The fun run is open to everyone. Taking part is the point rather than performance, and all entrants in this category are listed alphabetically in the results with their running time.
Most categories are electronically timed. The family taster run has no timing, and fun run participants appear in the results in alphabetical order with their time.
The Altstadt Classic and Musegg Classic are split into two waves, one for runners expecting under 36 minutes of running time and one for those over 36 minutes, with separate age categories from F20/M20 to F60/M60.
The solidarity run is a short 0.7 km loop through the old town where the entire entry fee goes to the supported institution.
