The KIX Senshu International Marathon returns to public roads for the first time in four years, with a 30km marathon and a half marathon run along the coast of Osaka Bay. The point-to-point route is run under sea breezes with Kansai International Airport in view, and the warm support of the roadside crowds is part of the character of the day. The 30km sets off from the Chiyoda 3-chome intersection on the Prefectural Route Sakai-Hannan Line in Takaishi City, while the half marathon starts near Kishiwada City Hall, and both finish at Osaka Prefectural Rinku Park in Izumisano City. Entrants receive an original T-shirt, finishers inside the time limit are given a medal and a towel, and a prize draw at the finish gives away local Senshu specialties. The 30km marathon costs 10,000 yen and the half marathon 8,000 yen, each with a separate entry handling fee, and there is no registration on race day because bibs and participant gifts are mailed in advance.

Entry runs from 1 October 2026 at 00:00 until 15 November 2026 at 23:59. Even within the entry period, registration closes as soon as the capacity is reached.
No. Duplicate entries, including individual and group entries, multiple group entries, and entries in both the 30km marathon and the half marathon, are not permitted. Please make one entry per person. If a duplicate entry is discovered, no refund of the entry fee or handling charge will be made.
There is no registration on the day of the event. Athlete bibs and participant gifts are sent to you in advance, so please remember to bring them with you.
The 30km marathon starts at 09:00 at the Chiyoda 3-chome intersection on the Prefectural Route Sakai-Hannan Line in Takaishi City. The half marathon starts at 10:00 near Kishiwada City Hall in Kishiwada City.
All entrants receive an original T-shirt. Those who finish within the time limit receive a towel and a medal. There is also a prize draw giving away local Senshu specialties.
