The Jurassic Miles takes place on trails around Rovereto, Italy. The course is run in out-and-back sections on two routes repeated in loops, accumulating 4,200 metres of climbing. Competitors have 32 hours to finish the 100-mile ultra trail race. The event is organised by ASD Endurance Run and will start at 16:00 on 17 September 2027.
Three out-and-back routes combine into a ~27 km loop: Gli Orti (10.1 km, 190 m D+), Le Orme (10.8 km, 310 m D+), and Il Fungo (6.25 km, 190 m D+).
Le Orme passes the ancient dinosaur footprints of Lavini di Marco, a site that inspired Dante's Divine Comedy.
Panoramic trails through pine and oak woods, rocky walls, and balconies overlooking the Vallagarina valley.
Run in repeated loops with a central aid station every ~10 km; no need to carry your backpack or water reserves.
