Runners share a tasuki sash around a 1.24km park loop, with teams of three to ten covering 21km inside a three hour limit. The setting is Shinshiro Sogo Park, on the ground of the historic Battle of Nagashino and Shitaragahara, so the day mixes a fast team chase with a relaxed family atmosphere.

Other questions
One runner at a time carries the tasuki sash around the 1.24km park loop. Teammates wait in the designated handover area, then the incoming runner passes the tasuki to the next runner. Only the runner wearing the tasuki should be on course. Handovers can be busy, so move to the side, call your teammate's name, and make the exchange cleanly. Confirm the exact handover zone and rules at check-in.
The team finishes when the final runner crosses the finish line with the tasuki after completing 21km. If you are near the three-hour limit, keep moving, avoid unnecessary stops, and know how many laps remain. Some events close the course exactly at the limit, so confirm whether final laps must start before a cut-off. Finish as a team if possible, and follow marshal directions in the finish area.
The park loop should be marked with cones, signs, and marshals, but pay close attention to the mixed surface and any other park users. In an emergency, stop safely, alert the nearest marshal, and call the emergency number listed in the race guide. Follow directions about keeping left or right, especially near the handover area. Because the course is short and repeated, stay aware of runners around you even if you are familiar with the loop.
The nearest major airport is Chubu Centrair (NGO) near Nagoya. From Nagoya, take rail to Toyohashi, then the JR Iida Line to Shinshiro; from Tokyo, take the Shinkansen to Toyohashi and transfer to the Iida Line. From Shinshiro Station, use a taxi or local bus to Shinshiro Sogo Park. Accommodation is limited near the park, so consider staying in Shinshiro, Toyohashi, or Nagoya, and book early for the February event.
