2nd Agios Dimitrios Health Run "On the Paths of the Rice Fields" (2ος Δρόμος Υγείας «Αγιος Δημήτριος – Στα Μονοπάτια των Ορυζώνων»)

The second Agios Dimitrios Health Run takes place in the village of Vrachia, in the Municipality of Delta in Central Macedonia, on Sunday 15 November 2026. Organised by the Local Community of Vrachia, the day brings runners, walkers, families and children together on routes that cross the distinctive landscape of the Macedonian rice fields. The programme pairs running and brisk-walking distances shaped for every age and level of fitness with parallel cultural events and surprises for participants and spectators. The race is held in honour of the village's patron saint, combining health promotion and sport with local tradition and Macedonian hospitality.
