The race starts and finishes at the Hita City Athletics Stadium in Oita Prefecture, taking runners around the streets and townscape of Hita while the Tenryo Hita Hinamatsuri doll festival runs from mid-February to the end of March. Three distances share the same stadium start and finish: a half marathon, a 10km and a 5km, with the half marathon passing a checkpoint at the 18km point at 11:10. The day opens with a ceremony at 8:00 and closes at 12:30, and every entrant receives an Attack on Titan collaboration T-shirt along with a web finisher certificate. The top three in each category are honoured, and a cosplay award in three divisions celebrates runners who turn up in inventive costumes.

Entry runs from 30 October 2026 at 00:00 until 7 January 2027 at 23:59. Registration closes early if the field fills within that window.
Registration is at Hita City Athletics Stadium, 613-2 Oaza Tajima, Hita. The day before, Saturday 13 March, it runs from 14:00 to 17:00. On race day, Sunday 14 March, it opens at 07:00 and closes 30 minutes before each start.
Planned services include a prize draw for Hita specialities and 1,000 yen Mameda-machi shopping street vouchers, free hot spring bathing tickets, free admission to the Tenryo Hita Museum and the Hita Gion Yamahoko Hall, a foot bath at Amagase Onsen, an udon noodle service and a performance by the Fujikage High School brass band.
