Part of the 23rd Half Marathon "In the Footsteps of Pausanias" weekend, this 2km race for secondary-school boys and girls is staged entirely inside the Megareon Olympionikon Municipal Stadium in Megara. Entries are taken only on race day at the race secretariat, where a guardian's signature is required for each young runner. There is no entry fee, and the morning closes with cups and diplomas for the top three boys and the top three girls.

Comfortable running clothes and shoes are enough for this short stadium race. Registration at the secretariat must be completed before the 09:00 start, and a guardian needs to be present to sign.
