The Eastwood 5-Mile Run is a neighborhood running tradition that takes participants through the streets of Syracuse's Eastwood community. Runners cover five miles on paved city roads, starting and finishing near 600 Robinson St under a 10:00 AM gun. The event is organised by the Eastwood Neighborhood Association and the money raised goes toward scholarships for local high school seniors and community health initiatives. Registration is handled entirely online with no paper entries, and race packets are collected the day before the race at Fleet Feet Syracuse.
