The Bridge2Bridge Race takes runners and walkers through the streets of Danville, Virginia, on a course that links two of the city's bridges. The day opens with a half marathon before the 10K, 5K and a half mile kids fun run follow through the morning. Distances are offered for runners, walkers, assisted participants and children, so several generations can share the same start line. Crowds line the route and the morning is built around a friendly, festival-like atmosphere rather than pure competition.

Yes. A 5K walk is offered alongside the 5K run, and an assisted participant walk division is also available. Walking entries are welcome and judged on the same 5K course.
Yes. The route runs through the downtown street network, so supporters can move between a few points along the course and still catch runners at both the start and finish areas.
