Terrain
The 17 November Run takes place in Ostrov, a small town in the Karlovy Vary region of the Czech Republic, on Sunday 8 November 2026. Runners cover 5 kilometres on a single distance, with the field divided into age categories that stretch from the very youngest pre-school children through pupils, cadets and juniors to senior men, women and veterans. Entries, start lists and results are handled through the SOKOTIME timing system, which publishes results online. Because 17 November is a national holiday in Czechia, the race has a celebratory community feel and draws local families alongside club runners.
