The 15th edition is scheduled for Saturday 3 July 2027, starting at 12:00 and running through the night until the 20 hour limit expires on Sunday morning, 4 July 2027.
The whole 100 km is run on asphalt roads. The organiser describes the surface as undulating asphalt, and the route accumulates about 2,600 m of climbing over the distance, so it is rolling rather than flat.
There is no technical difficulty because everything runs on road, but the combination of 100 km and 2,600 m of constant rolling climbing makes it a serious challenge. Winning times in recent years have ranged from about 7 hours 49 minutes to 9 hours.
Yes. With a 12:00 start and a 20 hour limit, most of the field runs through the night and finishes on Sunday morning. Bring a head torch and reflective clothing unless the organiser states otherwise.
This edition is listed as not ranking eligible and carries no IAU label, so it is a standalone event rather than a championship or label race.
