The Katsushika ward residents priority window runs from 1 October 2026 at 00:00 to 21 October 2026 at 23:59. General entry opens on 22 October 2026 at 00:00 and closes on 4 January 2027 at 23:59.
It is limited to people living in Katsushika Ward, who receive a 500 yen discount on the entry fee. If you enter together with companions, those companions must also live in Katsushika Ward.
Yes. Katsushika residents can also enter during the general entry period from 22 October 2026 to 4 January 2027, but the general entry fee applies.
Entries close without notice once each race reaches its capacity, even if the published entry period has not yet ended.
There is no age limit. Where children in the lower years of elementary school take part, one guardian aged 18 or over may accompany up to two children, and a single family may enter up to ten people.
