The half marathon is the longest race of the day and is run on the JAAF-certified flat course starting and finishing at Horikiri Mizube Park. Entrants are arranged into starting blocks according to the predicted time declared at entry and set off in waves, with a three-hour limit to complete the distance. Wheelchair entrants start from the final block regardless of their declared time.

Entries are accepted on RUNNET from 22 October 2026 at 00:00 until 4 January 2027 at 23:59. Even inside that window, registration closes without notice once capacity is reached.
The Challenge RUN half marathon and 10km are open to high school students and above, split into federation-registered and general divisions. The Fureai Health RUN 5km is open to junior high school students and above on race day, the 3km and 1km to elementary school students and above on race day, and the Family RUN 2km has no age limit.
No. Baby strollers are not permitted in any of the events.
No. Drinking alcohol, or receiving alcohol from others, before the start or while running is prohibited.
The participation award is an event original short-sleeve T-shirt plus a coupon ticket for cooperating shops in the ward, subject to confirmation. A record certificate is issued as a web record certificate.
